Weekly Nascar CHEAT SHEET
Our goal is to provide you with all the information necessary to help you win in Daily Fantasy,
as well as helping you to become better DFS Players in the long run.
Our Nascar sheets are updated weekly after qualifying data is gathered and imported.
Generally, around Friday or Saturday before the next Race.
Our sheet was created by my good friend Joe, also known by the twitter handle @DFS_Analytics
Joe is a life long sports enthusiast and math geek.
He’s a Boston native, who crunches data for a warehouse robotics/logistics
company located just north of Boston.
In his free time, he takes his excel-guru skills to the DFS world.
Joe has been working behind the scenes at Rotogrinders on their NBA projections, and will be doing
the same for MLB, but he has decided to help out his old friend Chris (CeeGee) with some NASCAR knowledge.
@DFS_Analytics A few notes about the model.
It is 100% data driven, so there are things it will not account for. You should also be doing your research. It takes into account all practices to some degree, even if a driver crashed and had to switch cars, so it is on you to throw out practice results with the old car. A lot of it is also historical data, so often times it will project rookies much lower, I am adding steps to account for this the best I can, but it still pops up from time to time.
I cannot stress enough how important it is to do your own research and know what is going
on throughout the race weekend. Twitter will be your biggest tool as many of the drivers will
communicate directly with the fans about how the car feels.
If you have any suggestions or features you would like to see added to the sheet, please
