TOP PLAYS QUARTERBACK
Trevone Boykin – TCU
$10,800 FANDUEL
$9,400 DRAFTKINGS
Oklahoma State has only given up 10 TDs all season and have 30 sacks … which is a lot at any
level of football. Boykin has been comfortably delivering value across all daily sites.
I don’t think there’s any real cause for concern, but this is a tougher matchup than normal.
Luke Falk – Washington State
$9,700 FANDUEL
$8,300 DRAFTKINGS
Throw out last week against a solid Stanford team, and I think you can pencil in
35ish fantasy points for Falk with upside into the 40’s. This is a good matchup for the
most part. AZ State can rush the passer with 29 sacks on the season, so you just hope that
doesn’t eat into Falk’s negative rushing yard stat too much.
Greg Ward – Houston
$9,500 FANDUEL
$8,600 DRAFTKINGS
I like the matchup. I like the Vegas line. I like Ward as a guy who has a good week.
The only problem is his price has really priced in a lot of his upside in this one. He’d need to have one
of the best games he’s had this season (and Boykin, Falk … ect would need to brick)
for you to get a ton of value. I think that makes Ward a solid cash game pick, especially
because he could rival Falk/Boykin in production but his usage will probably be slightly lower ….
which can be helpful in triple ups, or multi-enter type cash games.
Patrick Mahomes – Texas Tech
$9,800 FANDUEL
$7,600 DRAFTKINGS
This is an above average matchup since good QB’s have pretty much lit up West Virginia.
The team only has 12 sacks. Mahomes salary is probably just a tad bit lower than normal since
he’s been somewhat inconsistent. I think he’s a decent option in tournaments since he
has an outside chance at 40 fantasy points.
TOP PLAYS RUNNING BACKS
Demario Richard – Arizona State
$7,100 FANDUEL
$6,800 DRAFTKINGS
Tought to keep him out of the lineups at these prices and this kind of matchup.
Christian McCaffrey – Stanford
$8,900 FANDUEL
$8,300 DRAFTKINGS
I’d consider him an average cash game play at these prices because I think he has a low floor,
but would need to really get busy to provide much value. I would guess Stanford will look to run against
Colorado who’s given up 5.1 yards per carry this season.
Jalen Hurd – Tennessee
$6,300 DRAFTKINGS
I like this matchup and I this he’s got a great shot at getting you 20 fantasy points.
On the season SC has given up 5.4 yards per carry and 215 yards per game.
Wendell Smallwood – West Virginia
$6,700 FANDUEL
$6,400 DRAFTKINGS
Needs to score you a TD (or two) at these prices, but he’s got decent odds to have a good game.
On the season Texas Tech has given up 5.9 yards per carry and 29 TDs to running backs!!
TOP PLAYS WIDE RECEIVER
Josh Doctson – TCU
$9,300 FANDUEL
$8,300 DRAFTKINGS
6 straight games with 2 or more TDs. Scary thing is he might be underpriced.
Laquon Treadwell – Ole Miss
$6,700 DRAFTKINGS
Too expensive on FD to really make me love rostering him, but on DK – I think he’s an elite play.
Gabe Marks – WSU
$6,600 DRAFTKINGS
$7,800 FANDUEL
I’m not in love with him like I was earlier in the season, but at these prices he’s not a terrible
tournament option since he has a high ceiling.
Demarcus Ayers – Houston
$6,100 DRAFTKINGS
Above average tournament selection since he has upside if he gets only 2 TDs … which is a possibility in this matchup.
