Quarterbacks
Trevone Boykin – TCU vs Texas Tech
As of today, this game has an over / under of 80 points! With TCU being projected to score nearly 44 points. Boykin is going to absolutely go off this weekend. If you don’t have him in your lineups, you’re going to fall behind quickly as he could easily put up 50 fantasy points in this one. He’s the most expensive player in the pool this week, but nobody comes close to his Floor and Upside in this match-up.
Matt Johnson – BGSU vs Purdue
The Bowling Green Offense is on a roll right now and Matt Johnson is leading the charge. Through 3 games this Season, he’s averaging 49 pass attempts, 452 yards and 4td PER GAME!?! Thats good enough for a 40 point average! There’s no doubt that he’ll be airing it out again this week, vs Purdue, who give up the 5th most fantasy points per game to QB on this early slate. If you’re not going to pay all the way up to Boykin, Matt Johnson makes a solid pivot in GPP’s
Kendall Hinton – WF vs Indiana
As of writing this article, the starting QB John Wolford for Wake Forest is expected to miss the game Saturday. Hinton will take his place as the starter, and immediately becomes a great value play. The Indiana Defense has been one we’ve picked on for the last few years in CFB DFS and this year, looks to be no different as they are giving up the most Fantasy Points to opposing QB’s on this early slate. Its pretty simple really, plug in Hinton, save some cash and pay up elsewhere.
Skyler Howard – WVA vs Maryland
West Virginia is a 17 point favorite Saturday, at home vs Maryland. Regardless of the large spread, I like Skyler Howard as a solid GPP play. West Virginia plays up in pace and will be looking to air it out vs Maryland who gives up allot of fantasy points to opposing QB’s.
Brenden Motley – VaTech vs ECU
Motley took over the starting QB job when, then starter Michael Brewer broke his collarbone vs Ohio State in Week #1. Since taking over, he’s done a decent job for the Hokies. Motley has averaged about 230 yards and 2 tds in both of his starts since taking over the job. Now, he gets a matchup vs ECU who we know loves to play a quick pace game. I’m looking for Motley to break the 300 yard mark this weekend, and he makes for another solid QB2 in GPP’s on Draftkings.
RUNNING BACKS
CJ Prosise – ND vs UMass
Don’t look now but there is a new star in the Notre Dame backfield. CJ Prosise looks to have all the making of the “Next Big Thing” at the storied Notre Dame program. The ND vs UMass game is not available on Draftkings, so, if you want some exposure to Prosise, you’ll have to get it over on Fanduel. Regardless of the site however, he is in a fantastic matchup this Weekend vs UMass, who is giving up over 200 yards per game to opposing HB’s. Look for Prosise to run wild in South Bend Saturday afternoon.
Chris Carson – OK St vs Texas
Carson has been super steady through the first 3 games of the Season. Averaging nearly 18 carries per game he makes for a solid #2 HB this weekend. His matchup should allow him to produce more than he has early in the Season, as the Texas program just isn’t what it used to be. OK St is only a 3 point road favorite, but, I like them to cover that pretty easily and I expect Carson to be a big reason why. Texas gives up nearly 200 yards per game on the ground and just over 40 fantasy points per game to HB’s this year.

Patrick Skov – GaTech vs Duke
This guy just keeps putting together solid fantasy weeks, and yet, his price hardly changes at all. Skov is averaging about 14 carries per game, for the #1 rushing attack in College Football. Nobody runs the ball more than the Yellow Jackets, and their Offense is pretty much gameflow proof. They will run the football, whether they are up by 20 or down by 20. Skov is just too cheap for the amount of production he’s been producing.
Jordan Howard – IND vs WF
Last year, we were all in love with Indiana HB Tevin Coleman, who rushed for over 2,000 yards in this exact Offense. Now, Coleman is toating the rock in Atlanta (not this week thanks to some broken ribs) and its Jordan Howard’s turn to carry the load. The UAB transfer has stepped in and picked up right where Coleman left off last year. Howard is averaging 169 yards per game and leads the NCAA with 507 yards on the ground through 3 games. His price puts him into the discussion for the top HB option on this slate (if you don’t pay WAY up for Fournette)
Vic Enwere – Cal vs Washington
Daniel Lasco is dealing with some injuries, so Vic Enwere will get the first crack at starting this week. He ran for 73 yards and 2 touchdowns in limited action last week vs Texas after Lasco was injured. He should easily pay off his salary this week, and free up some cap space for you to pay up for some other big name players.
WIDE RECEIVERS
Roger Lewis – BGSU vs Purdue
He graced the cover of our featured article last week and boy oh boy, did he deliver or what? How does 7 rec for 261 yards and 3 touchdowns sound? He’s put up 50.1 and 54.1 fantasy points in his last 2 games. To say that Lewis and Matt Johnson have good chemistry together would be a massive understatement. He’s clearly the #1, 2, 3 option for the BGSU Offense. Look for this to continue this week as Purdue is not really known for their Defense. They aren’t terrible, but they are far from great. Lewis and BGSU should put up plenty of points to satisfy your fantasy taste buds.
Corey Coleman / Jay Lee – Baylor vs Rice
Baylor is a 35 point favorite vs Rice Saturday. Normally, I don’t like to target players in games with spreads that high, but, when a team is projected to score over 50 points, I can’t ignore them completely. I’m not suggesting a full on Baylor stack in this one, but, they will score allot of points and I think these two guys will get the party started early in the 1st half, before the backups come in for sloppy seconds in the second half.
Jakeem Grant – Texas Tech vs TCU
This game has a ridiculous 80 point Total with a spread of only 7. The Al_Smizzle “yolo stack” is in full effect for this one. Play anyone and everyone from this game and just sit back and watch your fantasy points pile up. Grant is registering nearly 7 receptions, 100 yards and 1 TD per game through his first 3 games this year. He could easily double those numbers in this game as the scoreboard operator will be busy all day long.
Daniel Braveman – W.Mich vs Ohio St
Gpp play only here, as Western Michigan will lose by 30 or 40 points the Buckeyes this weekend. However, they will likely be playing from behind all game long, so that means they “should” be passing the ball quite often. Daniel Braveman is their #1 pass cathcer and he should have a busy day vs Ohio State, even it is comes in the 2nd half vs mostly backups.
