QUARTERBACKS
Honestly, – you have to play Boykin in cash games – especially on Fanduel. Personally, this will
be a week where I play less cash games on FD and just play in some tournaments that maybe
have some overlay, or I can get a decent number of entries in. The strategy I think will be to
fade Boykin and hope he lays an egg against West Virginia. We’ll see – Seth Russell lit them
up last game. On DK, I’m planning on working in Jones & Ellison the most and get some exposure to the PAC-12 game.
Treyvone Boykin – TCU
$9,700 Draftkings
$11,000 Fanduel
West Virginia has been pretty solid against weaker teams vs the pass this season, but have
given up 12 TDs on the season and 233 yards per game. Recently were ripped up by Baylor, but
that happens to everyone. I think for Boykin to reach full value, he’ll have to gain positive
yards on the ground – which makes him a riskier tournament option in my opinion.
Tyler Jones – Texas State
$4,700 Draftkings
So Jones should be in thow-mode all game, which might get him into the 40+ passing
attempts and 10+ rushing category. Georgia Southern isn’t a scary defense, giving up
14 passing TDs and 228 yards per game. Viable as a #2 QB on DK.
Kevin Ellison – Georgia Southern
$6,000 Draftkings
$6,200 Fanduel
Texas State has 0 INTs on the season, and only 10 team sacks – so Ellison shouldn’t
get a ton of yards taken away due to sacks. I’d say he’s a decent option in Cash game
on DK and you can roll the dice with him in tournaments on either site.

RUNNING BACKS
The running back position is certainly the most interesting for this slate of Thursday
daily college fantasy football games. I can imagine there will be so much lineup diversity
with this group that it will be the deciding factor in a lot of contests because the overlap at QB/WR should be fairly high.
Jamauri Bogan – WMU
$5,100 Draftkings
$6,500 Fanduel
This is such a good matchup I don’t think it can be ignored. WMU has another talented
RB who’s having a bad year for some reason – Jarvion Franklin ($4,800 DK, $6,600 FD)
is always capable of waking up and having a good game. On the season, teams have
averaged an unreal 6.6 yards per carry (on 413 carries!!) 30 rushing TDs!!! And 340 yards
per game vs EMU!!! That’s all pretty much dead last in all of college football. Not to
mention that WMU is a 20+ point favorite so they rate to be running deep into this game.
I think you lean toward Bogan, but I will certainly hedge that bet with some lineups with
Franklin because they both could easily get 20+ fantasy points if all goes well.
DeMario Richard – ASU
$6,300 Draftkings
$6,700 Fanduel
Does better at home which is where he’ll be. Might just double check his status on
late-swap sites. He has a good shot at delivering even if ASU goes into throw mode.
If he’s 100% healthy, $6,300 will be a good deal.
Darius Jackson – EMU
$5,400 Draftkings
Game flow is the only thing that should limit Jackson’s upside somewhat, but he does catch a few passes usually.
This is a good matchup against WMU who’s given up 5.2 yards per carry and 173 yards per game.
His value is better on Draftkings.
WIDE RECEIVERS
Doctson, Braverman, Carrington. Not sure if you can get that WR stack to work with
Boykin in the lineup yet but obviously it’d be ideal if you could. I don’t think you need
to stray too far from these WR picks in cash games. In tournaments you’ll likely want
to mix it up on the teams that spread it around more.
Darren Carrington – Oregon
$4,000 Draftkings
$7,300 Fanduel
Not sure I’ll roster him on Fanduel … in part because $7,300 is a pretty fair price …
but mainly because he’ll be in most of my Draftkings lineups.
At $4k he could 7x his salary without much effort, and that’s rare.
Josh Doctson – TCU
$8,300 Draftkings
$9,400 Fanduel
Boykin/Doctson stack will be where almost everyone will start a cash game lineup Thursday.
Daniel Braverman – WMU
$7,400 Draftkings
$8,500 Fanduel
His worst game this season is 20 fantasy points. Hard to love a guy more than Doctson but Braverman is close.
