NBA WEDNESDAY 1/20/16
After a Short slate of games, Tuesday, we’ve got a MONSTER Wednesday Slate today.
We hit on a few of our picks last night, with Khris Middleton, Karl-Anthony Towns having
solid games, why the value play of the night Tyler Johnson from the Heat laid a massive Egg.
Hopefully, tonight we can hit on a few more picks and win everyone some cash.
Name | 3g | 5g | 10g | FULL | Diff | 5gStdev |
John Wall | 54.33 | 49.90 | 45.90 | 45.03 | 9.30 | 17.63 |
Stephen Curry | 53.17 | 53.95 | 48.08 | 51.58 | 1.59 | 9.38 |
Kemba Walker | 48.67 | 43.10 | 40.23 | 37.17 | 11.50 | 22.34 |
Kyle Lowry | 48.67 | 48.10 | 46.63 | 42.81 | 5.86 | 4.44 |
Kemba Walker – One of the hottest players in the league and fresh off a MLK Day Career game where he scored 80 DK Points. The matchup tonight vs OKC looks to be a good one as this game should be played at a quick pace. Russell Westbrook isn’t really known for his Defense, so I like Kemba in this spot as a cheaper alternative to Wall and Curry.
Kyle Lowry – He is one of my favorite players to use in my cash games, because I pretty much know exactly what I’m going to get from him on a nightly basis. Just look at his 3g, 5g, 10g and Full Season splits, he’s nearly a lock for 40 DK FP every night and that’s something I love in my cash game players.
Name | 3g | 5g | 10g | FULL | Diff | 5gStdev |
Jimmy Butler | 46.33 | 45.80 | 46.88 | 40.00 | 6.33 | 21.91 |
DeMar DeRozan | 38.83 | 39.40 | 38.45 | 36.59 | 2.24 | 8.69 |
James Harden | 35.75 | 39.15 | 41.55 | 48.37 | -12.62 | 7.63 |
Dwyane Wade | 34.75 | 32.10 | 31.73 | 32.19 | 2.56 | 10.86 |
Dwyane Wade – There’s always a risk when you think about rostering Wade, as he sits out a good amount of games during the season. This is a spot where I could see him sitting out as its the back end of a back-to-back on the road. If he plays however, he makes for a solid cash game play, as the Wizards rank 29th in the league vs the SG Position. Bradley Beal has been in and out of the lineup, and Otto Porter has also missed some time recently. If either of them sit, I think Wade could seem himself in a spot to exploit the likes of Garret Temple and Gary Neal tonight. Sign me up for that!
James Harden – In my opinion, Harden is one of the most frustrating players to roster in DFS. He’s got all the talent in the world, but, for whatever reason, I always seem to see that little Snowflake next to his name in the 1st half of games. Generally, he’ll bounce back with a 2nd half, and approach / surpass 40 FP, but, it’s frustrating because the potential for a monster night is there. If he can put together two solid halves of Basketball, he can score 60+ any given night.
Name | 3g | 5g | 10g | FULL | Diff | 5gStdev |
Kevin Durant | 47.33 | 45.95 | 46.25 | 47.31 | 0.03 | 4.42 |
Gordon Hayward | 44.33 | 42.50 | 37.23 | 33.82 | 10.51 | 12.17 |
Carmelo Anthony | 39.42 | 41.00 | 41.48 | 39.68 | -0.26 | 9.46 |
LeBron James | 36.58 | 45.70 | 46.63 | 47.15 | -10.57 | 13.21 |
Jae Crowder | 36.08 | 35.05 | 33.65 | 28.87 | 7.21 | 7.52 |
Gordon Hayward – Currently scoring 10.51 more DK FP per game over his last 3 Games, than his Season Average, Hayward is one of the hottest players in the league right now. The Jazz’ entire offense seems to run through Hayward right now, and over the few games he’s been delivering. A trip to MSG and a meeting with Carmelo Anthony could lead to a huge game from Hayward tonight
Jae Crowder – Mr everything so far this year for the Boston Celtics. I love rostering players like Crowder, who don’t rely soley on scoring the ball to put up fantasy points. He reminds me of a poor man’s Draymond Green. The game vs the Raptors should remain close throughout and, Crowder is just one of several players I’ll be targeting in this one.
Name | 3g | 5g | 10g | FULL | Diff | 5gStdev |
DeMarcus Cousins | 54.17 | 54.40 | 51.90 | 48.88 | 5.29 | 5.73 |
Paul Millsap | 45.83 | 43.15 | 43.18 | 40.59 | 5.24 | 10.37 |
Kristaps Porzingis | 38.17 | 39.40 | 35.00 | 31.48 | 6.68 | 7.39 |
Draymond Green | 35.25 | 41.00 | 48.90 | 43.24 | -7.99 | 10.20 |
DeMarcus Cousins – This guy is becoming one of the best players in all of DFS. If you want him, you’re going to have to pay top dollar, but, most nights, you’re going to get you monies worth. DMC has put up at least 47.75 DK FP in 8 straight games, and, I can’t see how that does not continue tonight vs the woeful LA Lakers. He’ll be a popluar play, so, it might be a good move to fade him in GPP’s
Draymond Green – I mentioned Jae Crowder earlier, as being a poor man’s Draymond Green. Well, here’s your chance to roster the real deal. This year, Draymond has really taken his game to the next level, and he’s being mentioned in early season MVP Discussion. I can’t see how Draymond would win that award, over reigning League MVP Steph Curry, but, nonetheless, Draymond has been one of the most consistent performers, night in and night out.
Name | 3g | 5g | 10g | FULL | Diff |
Dwight Howard | 52.33 | 46.80 | 47.63 | 37.58 | 14.76 |
Pau Gasol | 48.00 | 40.35 | 42.80 | 40.66 | 7.34 |
Hassan Whiteside | 46.58 | 38.05 | 37.03 | 35.63 | 10.95 |
Andre Drummond | 39.67 | 40.65 | 38.13 | 44.98 | -5.32 |
Dwight Howard – I’ll be honest, I’m not a huge Dwight Howard fan. I consider him a huge disappointment, so far in his career as a basketball player goes. I feel like he’s got all the talent needed to flat out dominate the NBA, but, for whatever reason he just doesn’t. I don’t like his attitude, I don’t like his approach to the game and among other things, he just rubs me the wrong way as a basketball player. However, he’s been putting up monster numbers recently, averaging 14.76 FP more than his season average over his last 3 games. Tonight vs Andre Drummond and the Pistons, I think Dwight has another solid performance.
Hassan Whiteside – Fresh off his 5th straight Double-Double, this guy is playing on another level right now. Averaging 10+ DK FP per game over his last 3 than his season average. A matchup with the less than athletic Marcin Gortat should be a good matchup for the super athletic big man from the Heat. Look for another double-double here.
That’s all I’ve got for tonight’s slate. I hope the insight helps you all build some sick lineups and maybe takedown a GPP Tonight! Be sure to follow us on Facebook and Twitter as we love to interact with all of our customers and fans.
